How to Verify Your ID

1. Go to your Settings page
2. Click on "Verification" in the sidebar
3. Select "Verify ID"
4. Choose your document type (Passport or Driving License)
5. Take a photo of your ID document
6. Take a selfie for facial recognition
7. Submit for review

What Documents Can I Use?

We accept the following ID documents:

• Irish Passport - Valid or expired within the last 2 years
• Irish Driving License - Full license (not provisional)
• EU/EEA Passport - Valid only

How Long Does Verification Take?

Most ID verifications are processed automatically within a few minutes. In some cases, manual review may be required which can take up to 24 hours.

Verification Failed - What Should I Do?

If your verification fails, you'll receive an email explaining why. Common reasons include:

• Photo quality is too low or blurry
• ID document is expired
• Facial recognition didn't match
• Document type is not accepted

You can retry verification after addressing the issue. If you continue to have problems, please contact our support team.

Is My Information Secure?

Yes! We take your privacy seriously:

• All documents are encrypted during transmission and storage
• We only store verification status, not your actual ID documents
